Blade marked with 'Crown' over '31' inspection,  and the makers mark 'S&I DAWES' ^[1],  this is Samuel and John Dawes, Birmingham maker,  noted between 1813-15 in Board of Ordnance records.

Large collar compared to smaller collar on another India pattern bayonet.
