This clasp in unusual as its of known provenance to an officer in the 4th Battalion the Gloucestershire Regiment. Lieutenant Slingsby Westbury Bethell, 4th Battalion, the Gloucestershire Regiment, resigns his Commission on the 6th June, 1883. 4th (Militia) Battalion – formerly the Royal North Gloucestershire Militia
