“THE KINGS OWN LIGHT INFANTRY”

This is an interesting clasp, I have recorded a number of examples of this, it is a pre-1881 clasp with the number 51 removed from between the bugle strings. This suggests it was continued to be worn post 1881. The bugle rather than horn is unusual.
It is possible the numbered example recorded by Ryan fig.80 was one of these unmodified, and she just made a small mistake in the layout of the outer title as she used an old auction description.
All examples I’ve see have matching benchmarks, so the centre is not a mismatch. No apostrophe in KINGS.

A rare clasp, perhaps only worn for a few months, during the period May to July 1881 as part of the Childers Reforms, when the 10th Lancashire Rifle Volunteers became the 1st Volunteer Battalion Royal Lancaster Regiment and adopted their Lion without “4” below. They would then adopt the Lancaster Rose below the Lion as per the Regular Battalions.
