. 1815 Baker Socket ScabbardOA 463mm Width 43mm
Body of leather marked with a 'Crown' stamp above the frog stud and a broad arrow board of ordnance 'B/|\O' mark, thus showing its official approval. The rear of the scabbard is stitched, unlike other contemporary British scabbards which are stitched to the left of the frog stud. The frog stud is also different being less elongated. It is very similar to the scabbard used on the M1802 New Land pattern, except it is longer to compensate for the lack of shoulder on the Baker bayonet.
